Balance Patch + Future plans
Balance patch changelog:
- Increased player attack speed, lowered forward movement, and decreased animation lock time. Attack is now a 1-2 combo
- Increased knockback, moreso on harpies
- Breakables will now guarantee at least a small health drop instead of having a chance to drop nothing
- Squirrels deal less damage, have a longer ranged attack windup with audio queue, will no longer go ice skating if they break line of sight, and have their projectile stun time halved
- Removed fodder slimes from double squirrel room
- Slightly reduced player slidiness
- Slightly shrunk Tanuki parry window to avoid spam to win
- Made dark lesser harpy move at the same speed as regular harpy, but with faster aim correction
- Added 3rd save room to Redwood expanse right before 'gauntlet' treehouse room
Fixed:
- Door in lower Redwood Expanse re-locking after leaving the room; Door was looking for save key 'RedwoodGate6', and switch was setting 'Redwood6Gate'
- Enemies can now correctly see through crates and barrels
More patches may come based on feedback!
The next major update aims to include the Cervid Rainwood, a sub-location in Cervid Rainwood called the Aspect Temple, and potentially parts of Lowmarsh (the area beneath Redwood expanse. ) The Rainwood will naturally have largely deer-focused enemies, as well as a few flora enemies, and the first major required boss. It's also where the Cervitaur is found, so all the extra enemies from the initial release will be implemented in the main game! Lowmarsh is sort of a dark swamp area that will have enemies that match (the only fully planned enemy here at the moment is a 'definitely-not-a-goodra' style creature called a Tarball that rises from bog sludge.) Lowmarsh is also the leadup to Silverhorn's Tower.
The next update also aims to bring some new systems and functionality:
- Full combat overhaul with new animations, quick dodging, stamina, and directional attacks; as well as better parry system requiring charged attacks
- proper interactions for major NPCs using Dialogic with full size character sprites (for update 2 includes Sketch, and a friendly Cervitaur named Lilac)
- HUD theme collectibles
- Fast Travel (unlocked after defeating boss)
- Money system (used to purchase things like area maps, ability upgrades, certain HUD themes, and NPC character minigames)
- Better sandbox enemy navigation (switch to a dropdown because the enemy count is already making scrolling through each one tedious, and the end goal is to have like 60+ enemies)
I'm going to be taking a break for a little bit before continuing to work, mostly so I can make a larger animation for 8/8, and will start working on the next update around then. I also want to note that I'm probably going to be starting a Patreon in the near future for both the game and my 3D animations, which will have things like devbuilds, polls for enemy designs/finishers, behind the scenes stuff, as well as slightly early releases for my animations. To be clear: this will be entirely optional, and you will not need to be a part of it to play the game, or play release-ready builds at an early date.

Hoping for more anal vore
I'm also interested on if you're planning on adding some punishing moves with minigames. E.G. missing a very easy to dodge/parry heavy attack that leads into getting insta fully swallowed leading to a little quick action or another creative minigame to escape
Also do you plan on adding differnt vore types for the same enemy? Like oral if attack is from the front or anal if attack is from the back or having enemies have multiple types of attacks and the one that connects is the one that leads to the specific type of vore?
